Job Title: Scale & Cement Terminal Operator
Location: Yuma Terminal, 10263 S Thomas Avenue, Yuma, AZ
Hours: 2 PM to 10 PM, Monday through Friday (Full-Time)
Job Summary: Yuma Terminal, a division related to BLT Companies, LLLP, is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Terminal Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with truckers at the certified public scales, manual labor, including connecting and maneuvering pipe, and some heavy lifting. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and manage certified public scales for truckers.
Unload and maneuver pipe safely and efficiently.
Perform heavy lifting as required.
Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Communicate effectively with truckers and other team members.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Computer knowledge of scale program preferred.
Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
